About The Position

BYLT Premium Basics is hiring a Retail Associate who is customer-service oriented and passionate about people. The associate will develop product expertise to educate, inform, and outfit customers for any occasion, and act as an ambassador for the BYLT brand. This is a temporary position anticipated to conclude on or around January 2, 2027. The role reports to the Store Manager and is part of Retail Operations.

The position involves engaging customers and supporting sales, maintaining the sales floor and merchandise displays, processing financial transactions, assisting with inventory, and alerting management to potential security issues. The associate may also perform other job-related duties as assigned. The work environment typically has low to moderate noise. Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of retail experience.
• Cash-handling skills and experience with point-of-sale systems.
• Ability to lift or move up to approximately 50 pounds frequently.
• Ability to bend, stoop, or kneel frequently.

Responsibilities

• Greet and engage customers on the sales floor to provide a positive customer experience.
• Drive sales through customer engagement, suggestive selling, and product knowledge.
• Maintain a neat and tidy sales floor by folding, hanging, displaying, and merchandising garments according to BYLT guidelines.
• Keep clientele informed about current promotions and future merchandise that may interest them.
• Respond to customers’ questions and handle interactions and concerns courteously and professionally.
• Process payments using cash, gift cards, store credit, and other credit or debit cards.
• Alert management to potential security issues.
• Assist with inventory, including receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
