About The Position

The seasonal Marshalls retail role is responsible for delivering a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers, following customer experience principles, and maintaining a clean and organized store. The associate follows operational, merchandising, and loss prevention standards and may be cross-trained in multiple store areas to support business needs.

The role promotes a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect; accurately processes customer purchases and returns; supports credit and loyalty programs; and prepares and maintains merchandise and sales-floor presentation according to company procedures. Associates participate in store recovery, cleanliness, safety awareness, and shrink-reduction efforts, follow labor laws and company policies, and provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback. Other duties may be assigned.

The position is located at Marshalls Store 1490, 115 Town & Country Road, Palatka, Florida. Starting pay is $15.00–$15.50 per hour, with actual pay determined by relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a highly satisfied customer experience by engaging and interacting with customers.
• Model customer experience practices with internal and external customers.
• Support a positive store culture through honesty, integrity, and respect.
• Accurately ring customer purchases and returns and count change according to operating procedures.
• Promote credit and loyalty programs.
• Follow the merchandising philosophy and established merchandising procedures and standards.
• Process and prepare merchandise for the sales floor according to company procedures and standards.
• Initiate and participate in store recovery throughout the day as needed.
• Maintain sales-floor organization, cleanliness, and recovery standards and help maintain the entire store.
• Provide and accept recognition and constructive feedback.
• Follow labor laws, policies, and procedures.
• Support store shrink-reduction goals and programs.
• Participate in safety awareness and maintain a safe environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
