RETAIL ASSOCIATE: The Retail Sales Associates is expected to provide a quality shopping experience for members and guests of the Moonlight Basin. Retail sales associates are responsible for opening and closing the retail shop on a daily basis. They should take ownership and maintain the retail shop while providing a safe and enjoyable shopping experience. Individuals in this role will be responsible for managing the retail operation during their shift.

Requirements

Minimum one-year of retail sales experience
Experience selling athletic and outdoor clothing.
High School diploma or the equivalent education.
Good math skills.

Nice To Haves

Experience with a variety of outdoor activities is helpful.

Responsibilities

Creating merchandise displays
Maintaining stock inventory on floor
Organizing front of house backstock to ensure success.
Interacting with Moonlight Club members and guests
Reporting product recommendations, necessary reorders, and sales updates to the Retail Manager
Assist with inventory updates and receiving of new inventory.
Providing members and guests with accurate and reliable information about products.
Protecting company assets
Assist in creating an exceptional guest service culture.
Manage the day-to-day operations of the retail shop, and the execution of all policies and procedures instituted by the retail manager/supervisor.
Uphold cleanliness standards.
Distribute important retail product information to the staff to ensure all staff members are consistent with dispensing such information to our guests.
Ensure the retail shop is clean and organized at all times.
Operate the retail POS, charging member accounts and taking credit card payments.
Continually elevate standards of service to exceed the guests’ expectations.
Be informed on and promote all club activities and services.
Must be friendly and outgoing with a professional demeanor.
