About The Position
Goodwill's Mission: Transforming the lives of the individuals with disabilities and other barriers through pathways to independence and the power of work. This role involves processing and selling donated goods in a fast-paced retail store. You will sort, price, and stock merchandise, maintain store cleanliness and organization, and provide excellent customer service.
Requirements
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable, team-oriented, and able to work independently
- Basic math skills and comfort using a register
- Organized and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Must follow safety procedures, maintain regular attendance
Nice To Haves
- Retail experience is helpful, but not required
Responsibilities
- Greet donors and customers; provide friendly, helpful service
- Receive and unload donations; provide receipt
- Sort and inspect items to determine sellability
- Price merchandise and prepare items for the sales floor
- Stock shelves, racks, and displays to meet daily goal
- Operate the cash register and complete purchases
- Keep sales floor, fitting rooms, and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with loading/unloading deliveries as needed
- Follow safety procedures, maintain regular attendance, and perform other duties as needed.
