Retail Associate - Canal St (Cantonese Preferred)
About The Position
The Retail Associate plays an important role in creating a positive shopping experience by providing friendly and knowledgeable customer service, assisting customers with product selection and questions, and supporting daily store operations. This position is responsible for maintaining well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing merchandise areas, replenishing products, maintaining displays, assisting with checkout as needed, and supporting overall store cleanliness and presentation. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, detail-oriented, and comfortable working efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry merchandise up to 30lbs as needed
- Ability to stock products
- Ability to stand or walk for extended periods
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Nice To Haves
- Previous retail or customer service experience
- Friendly, outgoing, and approachable with strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers
- Reliable team player who can work efficiently and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment
- Cantonese preferred
