About The Position
The Retail Associate is responsible for selling goods and assisting customers on the selling floor. Requirements
- General math skills to allow for cash accounting.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Prolonged periods standing.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50lbs.
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma desired.
- Prior customer service experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Handle sales transactions while operating a cash register.
- Provide a high level of customer service.
- Maintains a thorough, up to date, knowledge of products, sales and promotions.
- Provides suggestions and product information based on customers’ needs.
- May help with store opening and closing procedures.
- Organize and stock products.
- Adheres to and upholds company policies and procedures.
