About The Position

Arch Telecom is a national Wireless Preferred Retailer with over 200 retail stores across the U.S. Since 1993, they have been providing superior service and quality wireless products. The Retail Associate Manager (RAM) works as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life, embodying the brand and Arch Telecom's Core Values. RAMs are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around products and services, thriving in a fast-paced, fun environment with a primary focus on customer needs. They build meaningful connections with customers by developing new and deepening existing relationships. This role requires continuous development of expertise in uncovering customer needs and a passion for educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. The RAM role is a learning role, where individuals will work with their team to build required skills and assist the Retail Store Manager in all operational duties.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • High school degree or GED
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Full Time (40 hours)

Responsibilities

  • Learn and build proficiency in customer service, while concurrently providing a best in class customer experience and building loyalty.
  • Help customers pick up right where they left off in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care or in-store.
  • Explore individual needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest and greatest technology in-store.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond the basic device and service plan, including accessories and Internet of Things (IOT) devices.
  • Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing expertise.
  • Assist the Retail Store Manager with daily operations and coaching.
  • Become proficient in the use of digital tools designed to enhance interactions and onboarding.
  • Demonstrate the company's coverage, plans, services, and how they are redefining wireless.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills and processes, knowledge of systems, and reference resources.
  • Build relationships with and partner with employees across channels, including business and customer service, to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Successfully identify and handoff small business leads.
  • Develop strong peer relationships where all employees are accountable for the company’s success.
  • Be willing to have a good time while providing first-class customer experience.
