About The Position

Arch Telecom is a national Wireless Preferred Retailer with over 200 retail stores across the U.S. Since 1993, they have been providing superior service and quality wireless products. The Retail Associate Manager (RAM) works as part of a Retail Team to bring the brand to life, acting as a brand ambassador who creates energy and excitement around products and services. RAMs thrive in a fast-paced, fun environment where customer needs are the first focus. They immerse themselves in meaningful connections with customers by building and deepening relationships. This role requires continuous work to build expertise in uncovering customer needs and a passion for educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. The RAM role is a learning role, where individuals are expected to work with their team to build required skills and assist the Retail Store Manager in all operational duties.

Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age
  • High school degree or GED
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Full Time (40 hours)

Responsibilities

  • Learn and build proficiency in customer service, while concurrently providing a best-in-class customer experience and building loyalty.
  • Help customers by assisting them in their shopping journey, whether online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
  • Explore individual needs and provide hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology in-store.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions beyond basic device and service plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and sharing expertise.
  • Assist the Retail Store Manager with daily operations and coaching.
  • Become proficient in the use of digital tools designed to enhance interactions and onboarding.
  • Demonstrate the company's coverage, network speed, and plan benefits.
  • Redefine how wireless is done, including device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, and knowledge of systems and reference resources.
  • Build relationships with and partner with employees across channels, including business and customer service, to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Successfully identify and handoff small business leads.
  • Develop strong peer relationships where all employees are accountable for the company’s success.
  • Provide first-class customer experience.
