About The Position

This role is responsible for providing excellent customer service within a retail environment, specifically focusing on firearms and related merchandise. The associate will greet customers, answer product-related questions, and ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations. Additionally, the position involves maintaining store appearance, stocking inventory, and maximizing product visibility to drive sales. The role requires working Saturdays and some holidays.

Requirements

Must be computer savvy with POS systems.
Must know how to type, use Microsoft office proficiently, and be willing to learn new programs.
Must be able to multi-task.
Must be able to provide prompt and courteous customer service in person.
Must be a self-starter and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Must be 21 or older.
Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
Must have a clean background; a background check will be done.

Responsibilities

Greet and acknowledge every customer as they enter and leave the store.
Assist customers with firearms, accessories, bows/crossbows, hunting supplies, apparel, and accessories.
Answer customer questions about product features, benefits, availability, and pricing.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to firearm sales.
Assist in achieving store appearance, perform general cleaning duties and stock inventory and display to maximize visibility and sales.
