About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team with store operations and team leadership. The role helps drive daily store performance, motivate employees, deliver seamless customer service, manage inventory, maintain visual merchandising, and execute sales initiatives that contribute to store profitability. The position also involves overseeing store systems and operational procedures, addressing challenges and customer concerns, and occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and contribute to a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Support peak store operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
• Implement sales performance strategies, set expectations, and work to exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
