About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, inspires employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. It contributes to store profitability through inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales management initiatives. The position may involve occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds. A high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail, restaurant, or hospitality leadership experience are preferred but not required. Applicants must be at least 18 years old at the time of application.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds to support peak store operations.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
