Retail Assistant Store Manager
About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, motivates employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. Responsibilities include managing inventory, maintaining visual merchandising standards, and carrying out sales management initiatives that contribute to store profitability and success. The position may involve occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs. Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and holidays is needed. The stated starting rate is $16.72 per hour, with an hourly range of $16.72–$17.73.

Responsibilities
- Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
- Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
- Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
- Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
- Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and work to exceed sales goals and drive revenue growth.
- Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
- Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
