Reporting to the Store Manager, you will share responsibility for store operations, sales performance, and team leadership — helping drive one of the company's top-performing locations. Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as retail keyholder, shift lead, or department manager required
- 2+ years of retail experience in apparel, shoes, or home goods required
- Desire to lead, develop, and motivate a retail team required
- Professional, positive, and team-oriented demeanor required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods required
Responsibilities
- Partner with Store Manager to oversee daily store operations, sales volume, and profitability
- Delegate tasks and responsibilities to associates with clear guidance and follow-up
- Recruit, hire, onboard, and train new associates
- Evaluate associate performance; coach and take corrective action when needed
- Motivate and lead the team; foster a positive, accountable, and collaborative store culture
- Own sales floor standards throughout product lifestyle for presentation, signage, and placement
- Stay current on fashion trends and retail merchandising best practices
- Allocate and manage monthly department work schedules within budget parameters
- Process ongoing daily sales performance reports
- Model, practice, and teach customer service techniques and standards
- Support Loss Prevention efforts across stockroom, fitting rooms, and financial controls
- Communicate professionally with associates, customers, and corporate contacts
- Uphold company policies and procedures
- Promote the company's image through strong community relations
