About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the day-to-day operations of a Russell Stover retail shop and is responsible for the overall care of staff. The store offers customers packaged and customized gifts, along with in-store-made fudge, caramel apples, and hot fudge sundaes. The role reports directly to the Training Manager and Team Leader of Retail Shops.

Requirements

Three years of prior retail management experience.
Customer service and selling experience.
Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel.
Experience using an email service.
Ability to frequently lift up to 5 pounds and lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to constantly stand, bend, reach, and work with hands.
Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

Supervise, lead, and motivate employees.

Unload, receive, and stock merchandise.
Prepare and supervise regular in-house production of confection items in the candy kitchen.

Perform back-office duties using a PC.
