About The Position

The Retail Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in store operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, motivates employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. Responsibilities include managing inventory, improving visual merchandising, and carrying out sales management initiatives that contribute to store profitability and success. The position also supports scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and other operational processes. It may occasionally involve lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to meet sales goals, provide outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers' standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Implement performance strategies, set expectations, and exceed sales goals to drive revenue growth.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 lbs.
