As an assistant manager, you are responsible for providing supervision and oversight for the store operations. An assistant manager supports leadership in achieving net revenue goals and implements effective scheduling techniques to maximize staff utilization. Requirements

  • Associate degree with two years of management experience.
  • Three years of management experience, instead of a degree.
  • Basic math skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Prior experience working in a retail or customer service-related environment.
  • Cash handling experience.
  • Warehouse experience.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

  • Trains and coaches all team members.
  • Supervises customer services, including proper returns, exchanges, and sales
  • Ensures staffing and schedule are managed properly, supplies are ordered and available, and housekeeping is performed properly
  • Supervises warehouse and receiving to ensure month-end goals are met.
  • Oversees the production area to ensure donations are properly received, sorted, cleaned, and priced.
  • Ensures production is properly merchandised to drive effective sales.
  • Ensures the production and sales flow operate effectively and employees are accountable for the company's processes and procedures.
  • Completes task outlines, safety tests, and online training.
  • Ensures all policies and procedures are executed properly.
  • Maintains 24/7 responsibilities to respond to alarm codes, opening, and closing protocols.
  • Opens and closes the store and manages all retail and warehouse operations as needed.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Store Manager.
  • You will be hired as an Assistant Manager; however, you will be cross-trained and expected to learn and work in all areas of the retail operation.
