About The Position

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Management Team in store operations management and team leadership. The role drives daily store performance, inspires employees, and helps ensure seamless customer service. It contributes to store profitability through inventory management, visual merchandising, and sales management initiatives. The position also involves supporting peak operations by occasionally lifting and moving boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Mentor, coach, and motivate employees to achieve sales goals, deliver outstanding customer service, and foster a positive work environment.
• Ensure product displays and store layouts meet Skechers’ standards for style and innovation.
• Monitor stock levels, manage restocking, and organize the sales floor.
• Oversee store systems, scheduling, opening and closing procedures, and operational processes.
• Implement sales performance strategies, set expectations, and work to exceed sales goals.
• Address operational challenges and resolve customer concerns.
• Occasionally lift and move boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
