About The Position
The Assistant Store Manager assists in supervising a store team focused on creating an unforgettable shopping experience. The role develops leadership skills and supports a career path. As a sales lead, the Assistant Store Manager regularly interacts with customers and leads the customer experience with the store team. The role also helps strategize to achieve team sales goals and, as a key holder, executes maurices Standard Operating Practices efficiently and accurately, including opening and closing the store. This is an evergreen requisition for future openings at Store 1711 in Porterville, California. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates may be contacted as positions become available. The role is regular, full-time, and pays $19.97–$22.37 per hour, with eligibility for monthly incentive compensation based on store performance. Pay varies based on qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies, and work location.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Ability to foster a team while creating a positive working environment.
- Experience in training and directing others.
- Ability to take initiative and participate in making decisions.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve goals.
- Computer proficiency.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
