About The Position

Assist the Retail Manager in the day-to-day operations of the Nugget Gift shop, to include; guest service, supervising, merchandising, and ensuring accurate inventory and cycle counts.

Requirements

Minimum 21 years of age
Effectively communicate with others both verbally and in written form using the English language.
Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a retail supervisory position required.
Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
Alcohol Awareness Certification is required.

Nice To Haves

Advanced skills in the use of purchasing/inventory systems preferred.

Responsibilities

Using the current ordering Nugget systems, order and receive merchandise for store inventory.
Using the current inventory system, maintain accurate merchandise counts, locate and correct inventory errors. Conduct regular cycle counts.
Proactively develop, implement and maintain processes to reduce inventory shortage.
Maintain window displays, product placement and overall cleanliness of the retail area.
May conduct interviews of future gift shop team members.
Conduct new hire and on-going training programs with team members.
May perform daily time edits in the payroll system.
Supervise, train, coach and develop Gift Shop team members.
Regular predictable attendance is required.
Establish and maintain effective channels of communication with all levels of the Nugget team and guests.
Knowledgeable of and consistently follow Nugget policies and procedures as well as appropriate local, state, and federal regulations.
Perform work in a safe manner and always maintain a safe environment for fellow team members and guests alike.
Immediately report unsafe conditions, team member or guest incidents to Security, Management, and the Safety Manager.
Maintain a positive and professional image for the Nugget when performing duties or representing the Nugget and encourages others to do the same.
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
