About The Position

The Retail Assistant Manager assists in supervising a store team focused on creating an unforgettable shopping experience. This sales lead regularly interacts with customers and leads the customer experience alongside the store team. The assistant manager helps strategize to achieve team sales goals and, as a key holder, efficiently and accurately carries out maurices Standard Operating Practices, including opening and closing the store. The role offers support in developing leadership skills and building a career path. This is a regular, full-time position at the Chico Mall store in Chico, California. The posting is an evergreen requisition for future openings; hiring needs may vary, applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and candidates may be contacted as positions become available. The listed hourly pay range is $21.04–$23.14, subject to qualifications, experience, skill level, competencies, work location, and applicable minimum-wage requirements. The position is eligible for monthly incentive compensation based on store performance.

Requirements

At least 1 year of customer service experience.
Ability to foster a team while creating a positive working environment.
Experience in training and directing others.

Demonstrated ability to achieve goals.
Computer proficiency.
Ability to work a flexible schedule.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
