About The Position

Anakeesta is hiring a Retail Assistant Manager to join our dynamic leadership team. This position supports the daily operations of our retail locations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences, top-tier merchandising, and a motivated, high-performing team. The Retail Assistant Manager is a key partner in driving revenue, setting visual standards, and developing a culture of accountability and recognition within the retail department.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of leadership experience in retail or sales.
  • Strong guest service and conflict resolution skills.
  • Proficiency in cash handling and retail operations.
  • Experience with visual merchandising and display setup.
  • Ability to lead, coach, and motivate a team.
  • Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Willingness to complete CPR/AED training.
  • Willingness to obtain ABC license and ServSafe certification.

Responsibilities

  • Model and uphold excellent guest service, store cleanliness, and product presentation.
  • Resolve guest and associate concerns with professionalism and compassion.
  • Support team success through coaching, training, and staff development.
  • Drive sales through team motivation and product knowledge.
  • Support new product launches, merchandising standards, signage, and markdowns.
  • Ensure merchandise is well-stocked, accurately priced, and visually appealing.
  • Recognize and celebrate staff accomplishments regularly.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Master POS and inventory systems and train staff for operational efficiency.
  • Assist in updating department standard operating procedures.
  • Lead or assist staff meetings to distribute important updates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and asset protection.
  • Assist with employee scheduling and payroll budget management.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced, guest-focused work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
