About The Position

The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking energetic, responsible and service-oriented applicants for seasonal employment opportunities at the South Entrance Rentals Desk and Safari Gift Shop. Job duties include cash handling, stocking, cleaning, bending, picking up merchandise, interacting with visitors, and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Candidate must be at least 18 years of age, or older.
• Candidate must have basic math and computer skills.
• Candidate must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Candidate must stand for 8 or more hours
• Candidate must be comfortable working outside.
• Candidate must have a flexible work schedule; this will include weekends (specifically Sundays), some evenings, and holidays.
• All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check.
