About The Position

The Saint Louis Zoo is seeking energetic, responsible and service-oriented applicants for seasonal employment opportunities at the North Entrance Rentals Desk and Treetop Shop. Job duties include cash handling, stocking, cleaning, bending, picking up merchandise, interacting with visitors, and other duties as assigned. This position starts at $15.00 an hour but may increase based on experience and availability.

Requirements

• Candidate must have basic math and computer skills.
• Candidate must have the ability to lift up to 40 pounds
• Candidate must stand for 8 or more hours
• Candidate must be comfortable working outside.
• Candidate must have a flexible work schedule, this will include weekends, some evenings, and holidays.
• All successful candidates for this position will be required to submit to a criminal background check.

Nice To Haves

• It is preferred that the candidate have some retail experience with cash registers and/or POS systems.
