About The Position

The Food retail and manufacturing analyst team is part of the global Agriculture and Food team, focused on serving this particular client sector. This role involves the analysis of global commodity supply chains, focusing on supply, demand, and price drivers. The analyst will be responsible for delivering a range of regular reports as well as ad hoc analysis in reaction to events, alongside modeling and data management. Regular direct engagement with clients regionally and globally is a key aspect of this position.

Requirements

• Masters in Economics, Agricultural Economics or related fields
• Experience in lead analysis of food retail and manufacturing sector, modelling and client engagement and working with Commercial team
• Curiosity about the world and the ability to craft and articulate a position
• Comfort with analytical and data tools, and managing complex data sets
• Enthusiasm for collaborating with colleagues and interacting with clients and other stakeholders
• Experience of responsible use of generative AI to support (but not replace) analysis
• Indefinite right to work in the United States.
