About The Position

As a Retail Ambassador at Rothy’s, you will represent the brand on the sales floor, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and embody company values in every interaction. You will create meaningful customer connections, drive sales through service, and support a welcoming, inclusive store culture. Sales are the primary focus, with limited operational tasks to help keep the store maintained and running smoothly.

The Stores team provides expert knowledge of the fit, wear, and sizing of Rothy’s shoes, as well as strong product knowledge and customer service that builds lasting brand loyalty. The role is based at the Houston Galleria in Houston, Texas, and is seasonal.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build genuine customer connections.
• Passion for service and motivation to achieve personal and team sales goals.
• Willingness to support operational tasks as part of the team.
• Availability to work at least 16 hours per week, either three peak days (Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and holidays) or two peak days plus two non-peak days (Monday through Thursday).
• Ability to stand and walk for an entire shift.
• Ability to lift, push, carry, or otherwise move up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to frequently bend, reach, and stretch, and safely use ladders and step stools.
• Ability to follow Rothy’s dress code, including wearing Rothy’s shoes during every shift.

• Previous retail or customer service experience is preferred.

• Drive personal sales and results while contributing to team goals.
• Build lasting customer relationships through strong clienteling practices.
• Model collaborative, team-focused behavior and contribute to a positive, inclusive, service-driven store culture.
• Perform assigned daily operational tasks accurately, including stock replenishment, visual merchandising support, and store organization and cleanliness.
• Follow store operations, policies, established procedures, and SOPs to support operational excellence and compliance.
