Retail Aggregate Delivery Driver - (Seasonal)
About The Position

This is a seasonal role, typically running from April through November, with a possibility of extension into December. This allows team members to have winters off while retaining their benefits year-round. The Retail Aggregate Delivery Driver is responsible for operating and maintaining commercial dump trucks to transport aggregate to designated locations in a timely manner.
Requirements
- General education, grammar and arithmetic, GED or high school diploma or equivalent
- CDL Minimum Class B
- Must have and maintain medical card and acceptable driving record and required endorsements.

Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A or B end dump truck to transport aggregate to job site, often driving on uneven or unfinished surfaces.
- Inspect truck for defects before and after trips and submit a report indicating truck condition.
- Maintain driver log according to ICC regulations as required.
- May operate a loader to load aggregate into the truck box.
- Perform daily maintenance of equipment, including cleaning the truck inside and out, greasing, oiling, checking brakes and lights, and any other instructed maintenance.
- Recognize surroundings and practice traffic awareness to maintain a safe environment.
- Tarp load when needed.
- Clean spilled material/buildup off the box (spill chutes, belts, side boards, etc.).
- Verify that gates are closed.
- Complete load tickets.
- Spread product.
- Maintain proper information in the truck cab pouch.
- Report information accurately and completely on daily timecards, truck cab information, and other needed paperwork.
- Maintain and support a safe and harassment-free work environment.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, DOT, EPA, DNR, MSHA, Federal, State, and Local safety and environmental regulations and attend required training.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
