About The Position

Retail Account Planner Description - The Retail Account Planner supports execution for key retail partners within the North America Print Category Management organization as part of the U.S. Consumer RTM Execution team. This role is responsible for account‑level sales and shipment forecasting across a broad HP print product portfolio, with a strong focus on forecast accuracy, cross‑functional collaboration, and operational execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a business‑related field (e.g., Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Analytics, Economics).
  • Experience in sales forecasting, demand planning, account planning, or a related analytical role.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including: VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP INDEX + MATCH Nested formulas Conditional logic Linked workbooks
  • Experience working with planning or forecasting systems; SAP IBP experience preferred.
  • Experience using Power Query and working with large datasets.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Own and manage account‑level sales and shipment forecasts for a wide HP print product catalog across multiple retail and distribution customers.
  • Incorporate historical sell‑through trends, seasonality, promotional activity, returns, site traffic, and other demand drivers to build accurate short- and long‑term forecasts.
  • Complete weekly or bi‑weekly forecast uploads into SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
  • Create and distribute order sheets aligned to shipment plans and regularly evaluate order-to-plan (OTP) accuracy
  • Partner closely with Sales Operations, Customer Operations, Demand Generation, and Logistics to resolve urgent customer needs, inventory constraints, and backorders.
  • Evaluate forecast accuracy by analyzing variances between uploaded forecasts and historical sell‑through and apply insights to improve future forecast assumptions.
  • Participate in recurring sales, marketing, category, and operations cadence meetings to support account execution and cross‑functional alignment.
