About The Position

The Retail Account Coordinator (RAC) is a field-based role focused on in-store execution, shift support, and retailer relationship building. This RAC operates exclusively in the field — there is no home office component. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, leads by example on the floor, and serves as the primary point of presence for Beauty Educators and retailer partners.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working for a beauty brand or major beauty retailer.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrated leadership and decision-making skills
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Professional conduct in-store
  • Excellent brand and product education & training skills
  • Technology skills: video calls, phone calls, text messages, smart phone applications

Responsibilities

  • Be a consistent, visible presence on the floor — supporting shifts, coverage needs, and live events
  • Coach and mentor Beauty Educators in the moment, on the floor, during active shifts
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with store staff, department leads, and retailer management
  • Conduct regular in-person performance check-ins and document coaching in real time
  • Monitor time & attendance and partner with the scheduling team on any shift changes or coverage gaps
  • Ensure brand, retailer, and Headkount standards are upheld on every visit
  • Complete detailed in-store surveys following every shift
  • Achieve sales goals by driving BE performance and engagement at store level
  • Escalate employee or retailer concerns promptly to their supervisor and HR
  • Stay current on all Headkount communications via the Headkount app
