About The Position

Handshake is seeking a fast, highly organized contract Resume Reviewer to assist in evaluating candidates at scale. This role is crucial for matching Fellows to project opportunities by reviewing a high volume of resumes daily, assessing candidate qualifications and fit, and making clear, confident judgments aligned with client and project needs. This is a high-throughput position requiring the ability to meet daily review targets, keep pace with a fast-moving pipeline, and make sound decisions quickly. The role involves close collaboration with internal stakeholders, but the primary focus will be on heads-down candidate screening effectively and accurately.

Requirements

2+ years of hands-on experience in sourcing or recruiting (recruiting coordination alone or hiring experience as a hiring manager in a non-recruiting role will not qualify).
1+ years experience using Google Suite tools such as Sheets and Docs.
Comfortable working against daily review targets and turnaround time expectations.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accuracy while working at speed.
Ability to make informed decisions quickly without over-deliberating.
