About The Position
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Paddock Elementary School as a Restorative Practices Zone Paraprofessional. This position is designed for those who are passionate about fostering a positive and inclusive school environment. The Restorative Practices Zone Paraprofessional will support students, staff, and families in implementing restorative practices that promote conflict resolution, social-emotional learning, and community building within the school.

- Capacity to provide individualized support, including crisis intervention and behavioral support.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the implementation of restorative practices and programs within the school environment.
- Support students in developing social-emotional skills and conflict resolution strategies.
- Facilitate small group discussions and restorative circles to address student conflicts and promote understanding.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Monitor student behavior and provide guidance to help students make positive choices.
- Maintain accurate documentation of student interactions, incidents, and progress in restorative practices.
- Participate in professional development opportunities related to restorative practices and social-emotional learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, families, and staff to build strong relationships and foster a sense of community.
- Assist in the development and implementation of school-wide initiatives that promote a positive school culture.
- Provide individualized support to students as needed, including crisis intervention and behavioral support.
