About The Position
NHC Springfield is seeking a compassionate and organized Restorative Nurse – RN or LPN to support our restorative nursing and fall-prevention programs. This role helps patients maintain mobility, independence, dignity, and quality of life while reducing the risk of falls and preventable complications.
Requirements
- Current Tennessee RN or LPN license in good standing
- Knowledge of restorative nursing practices and long-term care regulations
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
Nice To Haves
- Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, restorative nursing, or fall-prevention experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Implement and oversee the facility’s Restorative Nursing Program in accordance with NHC policies and state and federal regulations
- Develop, monitor, and update individualized restorative nursing plans
- Coordinate care with nursing, therapy, dietary, activities, and other members of the interdisciplinary team
- Educate and support partners assisting with restorative nursing services
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient participation and progress
- Assist with fall assessments, investigations, interventions, and follow-up
- Review fall trends and help develop prevention strategies
- Recommend equipment and supplies needed for restorative and fall-prevention programs
