About The Position
Central Gardens Post-Acute is seeking a Part-Time Restorative Nurse Assistant (RNA) to join their team in San Francisco, CA. The role focuses on leading specialized care programs to maintain and improve residents' physical function, ensuring their progress and quality of life. The facility is located in the heart of San Francisco’s Western Addition and emphasizes a supportive, high-energy team environment dedicated to helping residents reach their maximum potential.
Requirements
- Must possess an active California CNA license and RNA certification.
- One year of experience in a long-term care or post-acute environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate vital therapeutic activities, including specialized exercises, range-of-motion routines, and ambulation programs.
- Assist with therapeutic dining, proper splinting, and daily hygiene (ADLs) to ensure resident dignity and progress.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, including resident weights and care updates, utilizing Point Click Care (PCC).
- Proactively prevent skin breakdown through regular repositioning and the expert use of pressure-relief tools.
- Report status changes to supervisors and participate in restorative program meetings.
