About The Position

Restorative Aide (RA) at Kindred Hospital Aurora, part of Lifepoint Rehabilitation. Lifepoint Rehabilitation is committed to prioritizing employee well-being to enable exceptional patient care. As a Rehabilitation Technician, you will contribute to the mission of making communities healthier. This role involves performing restorative nursing interventions to help patients achieve their maximum functional potential, reporting patient status to nurses and therapists, and participating in quality improvement initiatives. You will also support cost-effective care, engage in professional development, and maintain clinical competency.

Requirements

  • Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire.
  • ACLS and PALS are required within six months of hire.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience preferred
  • ASLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform restorative nursing interventions to support patients in reaching maximum functional potential.
  • Report patient responses and condition changes to the supervising nurse or therapist.
  • Participate in quality management and safety committee activities.
  • Assist in collecting quality review data and survey preparation.
  • Support cost-effective care delivery and interdisciplinary group activities.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional development.
  • Demonstrate professional behavior in interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
  • Adhere to the standards of professional organizations and internal policies.
  • Contribute to client relations and marketing efforts.
  • Maintain clinical competency and participate in team meetings.
  • Support administrative and clinical efficiency initiatives.
