Restorative Aide - CNA - FULL TIME 8 hour shifts (85044)
About The Position
Raintree Village is a 5-star, boutique-style senior living community offering independent living, assisted living, short-term rehab, and long-term care. We are seeking a dedicated Restorative Aide - CNA to provide direct care to nursing home residents, assisting them with restorative nursing tasks and promoting their independence. This role is crucial in helping residents with exercises, mobility, eating, bathing, dressing, and grooming, while also monitoring vital signs and documenting progress. The ideal candidate will work closely with the physical therapy department and ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations, as well as residents' rights.
Requirements
- Must hold an active Certified Nurse Aide certification and be in acceptable standing with the Nurse Aide Registry.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents doing progressive range of motion exercises and progressive mobility, to include but not be limited to bed activities, sitting, transferring, standing, stair climbing, and walking.
- Assist residents in progressive eating, during breakfast and lunch.
- Assist residents in progressive bathing and dressing.
- Assist and teach residents in progressive grooming.
- Take and record vital signs of residents according to facility schedule and policies, and during restorative activities.
- Document and/or report information regarding the residents’ progress and medical condition to charge nurses and supervisor.
- Participate on committees as needed.
- Work closely with the physical therapy department.
- Document all restorative tasks in the electronic medical record.
- Assure personal and staff compliance to all state and federal regulations including blood borne pathogens, infection control, use of hazardous materials, and fire safety.
- Assure personal and staff compliance to residents’ rights.
- Provide care in accordance with the restorative aide assignment sheet.
