About The Position

Orchard View Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and motivated Restorative Aide to join their team. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping residents maintain their strength, mobility, and independence while working alongside a supportive team. The position is part-time, specifically for Saturdays and Sundays.

Requirements

• Current Restorative Nursing Assistant certification required
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Proficient with basic computer skills, including accurate documentation in PointClickCare or similar electronic medical record systems
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate, resident-centered approach
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Reliable, professional, and committed to providing exceptional resident care

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience in a skilled nursing or long term care setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Carry out restorative nursing programs under the direction of licensed nursing staff
• Assist residents with exercises, ambulation, transfers, range of motion, and other restorative activities
• Encourage residents to achieve their highest level of independence and function
• Observe, document, and report resident progress and any changes in condition
• Maintain accurate documentation of restorative services provided in PointClickCare
• Foster meaningful relationships with residents while providing compassionate, patient-centered care
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver the highest quality of care
• Follow facility policies and procedures to ensure resident safety and quality outcomes
