About The Position

This role involves responding to emergencies such as burst pipes, water heater failures, kitchen fires, and mold issues in homes and businesses. The technician will be responsible for cleaning up, drying out, and restoring affected areas. The company emphasizes that prior restoration experience is not required, as training and certifications will be provided. Requirements

A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
To be at least 21 years old (DOT and insurance requirement)
To pass a DOT box truck medical clearance before you start
To pass a background check and drug screening
To pass a lung evaluation and be able to wear a respirator for long stretches
Must be clean shaven every day you're working (for respirator seal)
Ability to lift 50 pounds
Ability to be on your feet all day
A positive attitude

Nice To Haves

Prior restoration or cleaning work experience
IICRC certifications

Responsibilities

Responding to water, fire, smoke, and mold emergencies in homes and businesses
Extracting water, setting drying equipment, and monitoring jobs until they're dry
Removing damaged materials - drywall, flooring, insulation - and hauling debris
Mold remediation and fire, soot, and smoke cleanup
Cleaning carpets, rugs, hardwood, tile and stone, upholstery, draperies, and contents
Driving company vehicles and box trucks to and from job sites
Working off ladders, in attics and crawlspaces, in Tyvek and a respirator when the job calls for it
Talking with customers and keeping the office in the loop
