Requirements

  • Must be capable in both rough framing and finish work (Carpenter Focus).
  • Proficiency in plank flooring installation such as LVP and laminate (Carpenter Focus).
  • Familiarity with manufacturer installation guidelines for warranty purposes.
  • Competent in Drywall.
  • Competent in Paint.
  • Competent in Insulation.
  • Competent in Flooring.
  • Competent in Misc. trades.
  • Motivated.

Nice To Haves

  • Nail-down or glue-down flooring experience is not required, but familiarity is a plus.
  • Ability to handle small drywall patching and texture blending (Painting Focus).

Responsibilities

  • Work on an array of reconstruction projects.
  • Complete various tasks on multiple projects under the guidance of the PM.
  • Perform drywall and texture work.
  • Install and remove trim, doors, windows, and insulation.
  • Install cabinets.
  • Communicate with customers regarding project progression.
  • Perform putty, caulking, and painting.
  • Install tile floors, showers, and shower doors.
  • Install other types of flooring such as Laminate, LVT, Vinyl, and Marmolium.
  • Handle contents manipulation.
  • Install countertops.
  • Wear proper PPE when required.
  • Perform rot repair.
  • Operate tools and equipment for reconstruction projects.
  • Take detailed notes on project progression, including written and photo documentation.
  • Ensure timely project completion.
  • Maintain cleanliness and readiness of all tools and equipment for each project.
  • Interact with customers to help them understand project progression.
  • Conduct repairs with minimal supervision.
  • Start and sometimes lead projects on a case-by-case basis.
  • Interact, develop, and maintain positive professional relationships with all levels of personnel.
  • Keep a clean van and workspace.
  • Maintain a positive attitude and lead by example.
