About The Position

SERVPRO is seeking a Restoration Technician to help homeowners and businesses recover after water damage, fire damage, mold issues, storms, and other property emergencies. This is a hands on position where no two days are alike and every project presents a new challenge. Our technicians play a critical role in helping customers during some of the most stressful situations they will ever face. Requirements

• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to pass a background check
• Willingness to participate in an on call rotation, including occasional evenings and weekends
• Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience in restoration, construction, demolition, maintenance, moving, landscaping, or other labor intensive industries is helpful, but not required.
• IICRC certifications are a plus but not required

Responsibilities

• Performing water extraction and structural drying services
• Assisting with fire and smoke cleanup
• Conducting demolition and removal of damaged materials
• Setting up and monitoring restoration equipment
• Cleaning and preparing job sites for restoration work
• Loading, maintaining, and organizing equipment and vehicles
• Documenting job progress through photos and notes
• Communicating professionally with customers and team members
• Following safety procedures and company standards on every project
