About The Position

SERVPRO of San Diego East is seeking a Restoration & Environmental Technician to join our production team. This role includes hands-on restoration and environmental work such as water damage mitigation, demolition, mold remediation, lead abatement, and biohazard cleanup in residential and commercial properties. Requirements

High school diploma or GED
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs with assistance
Ability to work in confined spaces, heights, and PPE environments
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Willingness to travel locally and out of state
Availability to be on-call for after hour emergencies
Comfortable in a physically demanding, fast-paced emergency response environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in restoration, demolition, construction, or environmental work
IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, etc.)
Experience working in containment environments with respirators and Tyvek suits
Knowledge of OSHA safety practices

Responsibilities

Perform restoration work including demolition, debris removal, drying equipment setup, mold remediation, and lead abatement.
Assist with contents moving/packing, biohazard cleanup, and specialty environmental cleaning.
Build containment areas and maintain negative air environments
Operate equipment including air movers, dehumidifiers, HEPA vacuums, and air scrubbers
Perform detailed cleaning and material handling in compliance with regulations
Identify hazards and follow proper containment and removal procedures
Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment
Document job progress with photos and job notes
Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites
Follow OSHA, EPA, and SERVPRO safety standards
Work closely with supervisors and teammates to complete projects efficiently
