About The Position

SERVPRO Team Allen is hiring a Crew Chief to run water and fire damage jobs across NYC. You'll lead the crew on-site, set up drying equipment, keep the job on track, and make sure the customer is taken care of. If you know this trade and want to grow into a bigger role, we want to talk to you.

Requirements

• 1+ years in water mitigation or construction
• Comfortable leading a crew
• Valid driver's license, clean record
• Can lift 50 lbs and wear a respirator
• Good communication skills — written and verbal

Nice To Haves

• IICRC certs (WRT, ASD) a plus — we'll help you get them if you don't have them

Responsibilities

• Run mitigation jobs from start to finish
• Lead techs on-site, assign daily work
• Set up and monitor air movers, dehumidifiers, and drying equipment
• Handle water extraction, demolition, and cleanup
• Take moisture readings and track drying progress
• Document jobs with photos and notes
• Keep the truck and jobsite clean and organized
• Talk to customers and keep them informed
• Join the on-call rotation for emergencies (nights/weekends as needed)
