About The Position

SERVPRO of South Palm Beach is hiring a Restoration Crew Chief! We are looking for a motivated, dependable restoration professional who takes pride in their work, knows how to lead a crew, and wants an opportunity to grow with a successful restoration company. As a Restoration Crew Chief, you will be responsible for leading restoration projects in the field, directing Restoration Technicians, communicating with customers, and ensuring each job is completed safely, professionally, and to SERVPRO® standards.

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record
• Minimum 1 year of experience in restoration, cleaning, construction, or a related field
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
• Ability to lead others and take ownership of assigned projects
• Dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Regularly lift at least 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds with assistance
• Climb ladders and work at ceiling heights
• Work in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined areas
• Repeatedly lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and materials
• Safely work with and around cleaning and restoration products

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience leading a crew or running restoration jobs preferred
• IICRC certification is a plus, but not required
• IICRC certification opportunities

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform water, fire, mold, and other restoration services
• Coordinate daily job-site activities and supervise Restoration Technicians
• Ensure work is completed efficiently and meets SERVPRO® quality standards
• Provide customers with clear, professional communication throughout the project
• Maintain accurate job documentation, including photos, notes, equipment, and work performed
• Manage labor, equipment, materials, and consumables on assigned projects
• Communicate job progress, changes, and issues with Project Managers and office staff
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site
• Protect and properly maintain company vehicles, equipment, and other assets
• Train, coach, and develop Restoration Technicians
• Follow all SERVPRO® procedures and OSHA safety requirements
