Restoration & Construction Technician
About The Position
We are looking to hire someone for a commercial restoration and construction position in the Tampa, FL metro. Time will be split between performing construction tasks with an emphasis on finish work (drywall, painting, acoustic ceilings, trim carpentry, framing, etc.) and emergency restoration response (water extraction, containment, selective demolition, etc.). The applicant will need to be self-sufficient in how to problem solve and make repairs in a variety of trades listed below. The applicant will be based out of Tampa, FL but some travel throughout Florida and possibly other states may be required.The applicant must be a great communicator with clients, vendors, suppliers, subcontractors, and company management. Applicants must be self-motivated and self-sufficient when it comes to all construction tasks. Applicants must also maintain a positive attitude. This is not an entry-level position or apprentice position. We're hiring skilled carpenters and tradespeople.

- Proficient at rough and finish carpentry
- Proficient at casework / millwork installation
- Proficient at drywall installation
- Proficient at drywall finishing
- Proficient at painting
- Proficient at caulking
- Proficient at window and door installation
- Proficient at metal framing
- Proficient at acoustic ceilings
- Proficient at minor electrical
- Proficient at minor plumbing
- Proficient at emergency response and proper protocols
- Proficient at water extraction
- Proficient at setup and monitoring of equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers, etc)
- Proficient at setup of containment
- Proficient at taking detailed moisture readings, humidity levels, and mapping
- Proficient at determining what building components need to be removed and performing those demolition tasks
- Ability to pass a background check
- Legal to work in the United States
