About The Position

Distinctive Living is seeking a PART-TIME Restaurant Utility Worker for their Mira Vie, Clifton location. Under the direction of the Restaurant and Hospitality Manager or Director, the Restaurant Utility Worker is responsible for the quality of service delivery during meal service, compliance with special diets, and communication with management. This role involves assisting with setting tables, bussing tables, washing dishes, supporting cooks, and completing cleaning duties.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Must have one year of experience in food service or other customer service-related fields.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Able to communicate verbally in person and over the phone.
Strong personnel and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Supports the development of a positive customer service culture in the dining room.
Offers evaluation on the quality of service and develops systems to maximize the efficiency of meal delivery while maintaining a pleasant dining experience.
Takes beverage and food orders, delivers food, clears, cleans, sanitizes, and resets tables.
Makes every expected effort to maintain customer satisfaction.
Resolves dining challenges with a customer before the conclusion of the meal service.
Maintains a clean dining room, including all equipment, walls, tabletops, bases, and chairs. Linens are changed as needed. Tabletop condiments and salt and pepper shakers are kept clean.
Washes and sanitizes dishware as required.
Ensures they and any employees working with them work in a safe manner and that unsafe actions are managed.
Compliant with Safety Committee Standards.
Fosters teamwork with co-workers, shows initiative in overcoming obstacles, takes actions which assist others beyond job responsibilities, and has a positive impact on co-workers, residents, and visitors.
Perform other duties as assigned or needed.
