About The Position

At LV Petroleum, we are searching Restaurant Team Members to join BOTH our iconic Miss J's Cafe and Dunkin'. Two GREAT brands in need of food service talent. As a team member at the cafe, you will be involved in a variety of duties centered around providing excellent customer service, preparing food, maintaining a clean store, and ensuring operational efficiency. WALK-IN INTERVIEWS: Held daily from 11am - 4pm inside our travel center located at 16700 W SOUTH AVE, TONKAWA, OK

Requirements

Must be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment.
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Must adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Nice To Haves

Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers as they enter the store.
Take customer orders and provide helpful suggestions based on their preferences.
Ensure that customers have an enjoyable and satisfying experience.
Address any customer questions or concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
Prepare sandwiches, wraps, salads, and other menu items according to Subway's standards.
Handle ingredients (meats, vegetables, sauces, etc.) and follow food safety protocols for storage and handling.
Toast sandwiches, prepare hot meals, and ensure proper portion sizes.
Maintain quality and presentation of food items.
Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process customer transactions (cash, credit, or mobile payments).
Accurately handle cash and provide correct change.
Assist with the balancing of the cash register and perform end-of-shift cash counting.
Keep the store clean and organized, including the dining area, restrooms, and kitchen.
Perform regular cleaning tasks, such as wiping down counters, sweeping, mopping, and emptying trash bins.
Follow all safety and sanitation procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for both customers and staff.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operations.
Assist with training new team members as needed.
Support team efforts during busy periods and ensure the store runs efficiently.
Restock ingredients, supplies, and other items as necessary.
Monitor inventory levels and communicate any shortages to management.
Ensure that all ingredients and materials are stored properly to maintain freshness and safety.
Help with opening and closing the store, which may include setting up or breaking down equipment, cleaning, and securing the store.
