About The Position

A dishwasher's job is to clean and sanitize dishes, kitchen equipment, and other areas in a kitchen to support food preparation and service. This role supports multiple F&B locations including the Main food service area for campers, a secondary food service area for burgers and hot dogs, a quick service space, and a coffee service area.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprinting.
Must have or be able to obtain the following prior to starting work: Mandated Reporter Training Certificate, Safesport Training Certificate.
Bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations and guidelines.

Responsibilities

Wash, sort, stack, and store dishes, glassware, utensils, and cookware.
Operate dishwashing machines and ensure they are working properly.
Keep the kitchen clean, organized, and sanitized.
Sweep and mop floors, clean and detail equipment, and empty trash.
Maintain health code standards for cleanliness, sanitation, and storage.
Keeps the food service area organized and clean, both the front and back of house.
Assist young campers during their food and beverage experience.
Complete opening and closing tasks for front and back of house.
Cleaning the serving areas, kitchen, and cleaning dishes and taking out the garbage.
Ensure that all dishwashing areas are clean, organized and maintained throughout the day.
Report any and all safety and maintenance concerns to supervisor.
Other duties as assigned.
