Requirements

Minimum 18 years of age
Minimum 2 years of related experience is required
Basic math skills
Basic computer skills, including word-processing, spreadsheets, and e-mail, are required
Demonstrate skill in dealing with guest complaints, using active listening skills to maintain the guest’s goodwill
Ability to remain on feet for the entire length of the shift, constant standing, walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive motions
Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners
Ability to lift, balance, and move large food trays, weighing up to 50 lbs.
Visual acuity and hearing sufficient to take orders and prepare bills

High school diploma or GED preferred

Responsibilities

Supervise the activities of all team members assigned to the floor; ensure that breaks occur promptly
Train new and existing team members under the direction of management
Ensure compliance with all departmental and organizational policies and procedures
Maintain a safe and clean environment for guests and team members
Assist managers in training and development of the team, and conduct team member 1-on-1 sessions
Assist managers in the management of staffing levels in accordance with established budgetary goals and business volume
Inspect by walking through your assigned area to monitor staff and to monitor guest needs
Supervise hourly team members in the daily performance of their duties
Ensure the venue is adequately stocked with all products and supplies needed for service
