About The Position

This is an entry-level management position in a restaurant setting. The Restaurant Shift Manager is responsible for setting an example of excellent, friendly, and upbeat customer service, and leading the crew through their shift. Responsibilities include making subs, running the register, cleaning, scheduling, and other shift duties. The company is looking for individuals with a positive attitude, previous restaurant experience, who are fun yet firm, upbeat, and can motivate others.

Requirements

  • Previous restaurant experience.
  • Positive attitude.
  • Fun yet firm when necessary.
  • Up-beat.
  • Leadership skills to motivate others.
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work on occasion nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Required frequently: standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as the crew handbook.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers.
