About The Position

Warwick Hotel Denver and Restaurant is seeking an enthusiastic and professional individual to join our team. As part of our food and beverage service staff, you’ll provide our guests with exceptional hospitality by serving food and drinks in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. Gattara Restaurant, located in the landmark Warwick Denver Hotel, serves a luxe breakfast in the morning and impressive Italian food and cocktails in the evening. Gattara is known for its Neapolitan-style pizzas, elevated classic dishes, and attentive service.

Requirements

Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Must possess basic computational ability.
Must possess basic computer skills.
Knowledge of the appropriate table settings and service ware.
Ability to describe all menu items, prices and methods of preparation. And to use suggestive selling techniques to encourage the guests to choose items that are house specialties.
Must be minimum age to serve alcohol.
Wear non-slip shoes, name tag, and approved uniform.

Nice To Haves

Two years’ experience as food server in full-service restaurant is highly preferred.
Bi-lingual in Spanish.

Responsibilities

Take orders for and serve all food and beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques; clear tables during service; control guest checks and secure proper payment.
Ensure station and table set-ups are complete and perform various side duties as assigned by the Outlet Supervisor.
Maintain proper condition and cleanliness of dining areas and servicing equipment.
Clean doors, windows, and floors during downtime.
