About The Position
Seafields by Bishop Gadsden is seeking a Part-Time Restaurant Server for its Independent Living/Fine Dining/Bar/Patio. This role offers a no-late-shift schedule and focuses on serving a chef-curated menu in a people-first culture that emphasizes respect and fun. The position allows for independence in creating exceptional dining experiences and career growth.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to stand, stoop, bend, reach, squat, climb, reach above, carry, and lift (up to 50 pounds +/-)
Nice To Haves
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior food service experience preferred
- Prior working experience and/or interacting with an elderly population preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide tableside service, including order taking, meal delivery, and check handling
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks
- Assist with dietary requests
- Maintain tables throughout meals and reset them afterward
- Keep the work area clean per DHEC standards
- Effectively operate the POS system
- Remain calm and follow procedures in emergencies
- Accept additional duties and cross-train as needed
