About The Position

The Restaurant Server is an energetic, personable, and reliable team member who will provide an outstanding dining experience by delivering food and beverages to guests, ensuring their satisfaction, and creating a welcoming environment. This is an essential role in maintaining a high standard of service and fostering long-term customer relationships.

Requirements

Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in orders and guest requests.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a diverse range of guests.
Ability to multitask and manage multiple tables or responsibilities at once.
Basic math and computer skills for handling transactions and using point-of-sale (POS) systems.
Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused attitude.
Ability to handle stress in a busy environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
Must have physical stamina to stand, walk, and carry food trays for extended periods.
Must be at least 18 years old
Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift trays, plates, and food orders weighing up to 25 pounds, and ability to move quickly and efficiently in a busy environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests with a friendly and professional demeanor and introduce them to the menu.
Take accurate orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar.
Serve food and drinks to guests in a timely and courteous manner.
Ensure that all guest needs are met throughout their dining experience, offering additional items as needed (e.g., refills, condiments).
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, bartenders, and management to ensure smooth service and accurate orders.
Check in with guests periodically to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or requests.
Process payments accurately, including cash and credit card transactions.
Ensure cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including resetting tables between guests.
Adhere to all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
Maintain knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
Assist in opening and closing duties, such as setting up and breaking down dining areas, restocking supplies, and cleaning.
Work collaboratively with fellow team members to ensure optimal service and guest satisfaction.
Handle customer complaints or concerns in a professional manner, escalating issues to management if needed.
Comply with all restaurant policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
